    I downloaded the XViD version of hte Pianist , the dvd screener (the Qix) one and its a 2 part version from kazaa not the 3 part version on irc. VDub and goldwave won't recognize the audio at all and i already have codecs for mpeg, mp3, divx, ac3 audio .... everything even ogg something or other. is there anything else i can try or did the idiot who encoded it somehow leave out hte audio?

    Try using Gspot or avicodec under tools to determine exactly what it is. One of those two is supposed to even tell you what to download...
