I recently downloaded an SVCD film and when I run it in Windows Media Player, I get this horrible green blotchy green that does my head in.

I have installed all the codecs you can imagine.

    From xvid

    nomic

    slc

I even tried ffdshow, tmpengc and some others and still no luck.

I feel as if there is no more hope.......Can anyone please give me a solution so I can sit back relax and enjoy the film

    Thank You

  2. don't run the SVCD in media player.
Use PowerDVD, WinDVD or a similar piece of software

  4. If you installed ffdshow using nimo, try uninstalling and finding a different one. May work, may not.

  6. Uninstall ALL codecs.

Scan file with Gspot from the tools menu.

Install the codecs which it quotes there ONLY

DO NOT use nimo codec pack.
    If it's wet, drink it
