  1. Hi, i was reading and found some interesting articles..

    Is it possible to burn a DVD-R with a Regular CDR Burner?
    If it is.. whats the method to do that?

    Yes it is possible. Just stick a blank dvd in your cd writer and burn it.

  5. If you want to burn a DVD-R with a CD-R/W burner, the answer is NO.

    For a short clip...yes. Check out Mini-DVD. However, most standalone DVD players will refuse to play them. For an entire disk...no. You have to get a DVD burner. Start saving those pennies...

    A CD-R burned with DVD data files is sorta like a DVD but it only holds a very short ammout of video and only a few DVD players can read them. You'd likely be better sticking with VCD or SVCD in that case.
