1. Can't install WinFast TV2000 XP card on Windows XP

Which is weird because everyone says it installs without a hitch.

I have tried to install a "WinFast TV2000 XP" on Windows XP and am having no luck. I have even reinstalled the operating system to see
if that made a difference but it still didn't work.

I have also installed the latest drivers from Leadtek site with great
difficulty
http://www.leadtek.com.tw/support/download.asp?pronameid=82

The drivers look to be installed correctly but the applications supplied just won't work with the card. I have checked to see if there are any PCI conflicts but there are none.

My system consists of the following

Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz Processor
512 MB DDR RAM
ASUS P4S533-E Motherboard
Winfast GeForce4 Video Card AGP
Winfast TNT2 Video Card PCI
Soundblaster Live Sound Card
Realtek Network Card

I have installed all of the services packs for Windows XP and there is
no other software running.

When I try to run the Leaktek Programs that came with the system I get
the following errors.

WinFast FM
---------------
FM Radio Device not found

---------------

The TV Application
---------------
Cannot find any video capture device
4294967295
---------------

Anyone know how I can resolve this problem before I take this card back.

2. How are you installing the drivers ? Do you go from 'Device Mangager' and install drivers and then point it to the 'ALL_TV_DRIVER_30130' folder ? And when it installs does it ask you to install hardware about 5 or 6 times ?

3. I couldn't get mine working right either. I got a BSOD STOP ERROR when installing the drivers from the CD. I tried it in a friend's computer (which has the same cpu, motherboard, sound, video cards, ect.) and it worked fine. I gave up on it. I even called Leadtek's tech support. I have never dealy with such unprofessional people. I had to ask the sales guy for help and he had to call Taiwan where the card is made. I still haven't gotten a call back from them. I ordered a Prolink Play TV PVR card instead, but was very hesitant to as you read reviews in here and some people have problems and others work perfectly. I was afraid I would be ordering another card that wouldn't work right. Oddly enough I could watch tv with the Leadtek card, just couldn't record without really bad scan lines. Also lowered my 3dMark score about 1200 points which I thought was very odd considering the video card is a separate component.

5. I've got sort of the same problem. Only the TV-application works for me but when I start up the FM application, I get:

WinFast FM
---------------
FM Radio Device not found

I was wondering if you already solved the problem

Thanks in advance

6. That is strange. I finally worked mine out, discussed here ==> https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=155114

However, I recently installed a second card on another PC and found it wasn't working. I changed PCI slots as suggested by others and it worked fine.

In your instance it could be that there is an application error. As if it works in the TV application it should work in FM mode...

Have you tried either re-installing the software provided, or downloading a newer version. I found a link on this forum for the new software. Try searching for it, coz I have lost the link.

Cheers...

Why are you running TWO video cards, both a AGP and a PCI?????
