  1. Hi,
Yes I have been trying to work out burning some of my animation files to dvds. I needed some tips so i hope I can get some help. How it works is they are mostly in avi, divx and some in ugly files such as rm and asf. Well I wanted to get them onto dvds and I needed some tips. Such as how exactly would be the best way to convert the files to mpeg2 to be burned to dvd also what is the best tools to do this. Which way would be the fastest. Will the quality be preserved or even increase. Basically I need some help any ins and outs on the subject would be helpful and very much appreciated. Also one other thing the dvd burners out are only 4x (when will 8x come out) and also how long does it take to burn... like 2 hours right? Thanks any help if much appreciated thanks.

The video quality will not increase if you reconvert to another format (Garbage in Garbage out).

For converting read our converting guides for different tips
    https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?howtoselect=4

And burn a dvdr in 2x takes around 30 minutes, 4x 15 minutes.
