  1. what software do i need to fix this?
    the resolution of the video isillegal
    the window size needs to be set between 8x8 and 4088x4088
    thr width and height of the windows needs to be multiple of 8

  2. did you get that when you opened the file you want to encode or when you went to encode with tmpg
    means your video size is not a multiple of 8
    like vcd 352x240 352/8 =44 etc...
    like svcd 480x480

    these are standard file sizes for vcd/svcd
    you can play with them but it will have to be a # that can be divide by 8
    i useally do my svcds video 480x400 and over all 480x480
    but thats not usally the correct ratio but for most movies i personaly think its ok some people dont. i do ajust it for most movies

    tmpg under settings > advanced > video arangment > you can change that if the template is unlocked to change the aspect ratio.
    and make sure under > settings > video > size is the standard 352x240 or 480x480 or pal 352x288 480x576 or you will get that error

  3. what do i use to encode a mov file i try tmpgenc but it has glitches in the video after i encode it?
