    Ok, I am using CCE and I am tryin to get the video file from the movie to author it which I can do the problem is when I add the DivX 5.03 movie into CCE, get all my settings right and then finally click encode I get an error message that says:
    Couldnt find approiate video codec for 'div3'
    Can someone tell me how to fix this?

    you don't have that codec.

    I get the exact same error message. Also complains about 'div4' files as well. I know I have these codecs installed as Vdub and TMPGEnc handles them just fine. I was just wanting to compare their output with CCE output.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    The only thing I can think of is that you frameserve the .AVI file through AviSynth. You got to have a CCE version which accepts AviSynth files though.
