  1. Hi Everybody

Could anybody please let me know if there is a solution for the following (strange) problem ?

I have a full music show on two cd's, VCD format.
Now the problem is that i only have sound from one channel and that really sucks !!

This VCD concert only plays on the right speaker when you watch it and not both speakers !

Every now and then the only sound is a pop/scratch sound coming from the missing channel !

I also tried it on my stand alone DVD player, same thing the TV plays back
only one channel ! (i have a stereo TV).

Before anybody will say it , yes i have tried other VCD's and they all play the audio stream on both the channels !

I don't pretend to re-obtain the true stereo but i was wondering if there is a method to copy the only signal available to the other channel ?

In other words i want to create a double mono track and reburn the the VCD again !

If you have a solution that fits my purpose, that will make me very happy indeed,

    Thanks in advance

  2. Are the vcd's the source of the files or did you create them from files on your pc ?

I did not create them, they have been sent to me that way !

I have also asked the sender about them and he told me that he also got them with the missing channel

  5. You could try demuxing and opening the audio in a Wave Editor such as
Cool Edit and copy your audio to both channels, try cleaning up that Pop and Scratch noise and maybe fake some stereo effects. After that you can then rebuild your VCD.
