    What's the best format for eding in Premiere?

    Should I decode it to AVI, MPEG2, others?

    Which ripper is going to get me from a DVD to an editable format the quickest - with the best quality results?

    I don't care about compressing it - I want it in the BEST QUALITY editable format.

    Adobe reccommends editing in AVI format.
