Just wanted to ask....when I download an avi and I use TMPGEnc to convert the file to MPEG, it seems a little choppy. Is there a way to reduce that choppyness? I set the motion sensor from normal to high in the settings...but I still saw the choppyness. It isnt too bad, but it isnt smooth like when you burn from RAR files. I dont expect it to come out as good, but I would like to find out if there is a way to desrease the choppyness....even if it takes longer.

You could well be changing the framerate without realisng it. Make sur you encode to the same standard (framerate) as the original avi. If that means the final result won't play on your equipment (Pal/NTSC issues) you will have to learn how to do proper framerate conversion.

Have you tried using the basic wizards to convert in tmpgenc. Sometimes the simple methods are the best ones.
