    I have an avi video which is low quality.How can I increase its quality??

    You really can't. You can sharpen it or run noise reduction, but if it is bad to begin with, there's little you can do.

    It depends on what the problem is. If it is typical over compression, reduced resolution type damage then you are pretty much screwed. You can remove some of the damage, but usually at the cost of detail.

    If, on the other hand, you are cleaning up VHS or film source material and the video files are not over compressed garbage, you have many options open to you.

    You need to provide more details, and perhaps a sample, before you can expect more detailed answers.
