For a long while I was using Video Factory to Capture, edit and render. Then Vegas. I had Adobe Premier but since I did not like the editor, I did not use.
Started noticing that when I capture with Vegas video via iee1394 from Digital 8 cam, during capture it drops a shade or two in brightness. Never really paid attention before. But everytime I press RECORD (capture) the picture dims.
SO I tried in premier and it does not do that. Have wound up now, capturing my clips with premier and then import to Vegas. What would cause this ? I know Premier is using the MS DV capture driver. Is this the root cause, does Vegas use mainconcept or something else ?
Thanks in advance.......
