This is for the older versions of Coby DVD 507 that support VCD.

This hack is done almost the exact way as the multiregion hack.

Turn on your player with no disk in it and get the Coby Blue Screen. Now Press "Setup" and then Vol(+) Vol(-) Vol(+) Vol(-). On the upper right hand corner it should display "Ver ___" (1,2,3,4,5,6 or 255 for multiregion). Now press the Up Arrow Key till you get to the number 4001. Now press the Left Arrow Key to change it to 4000. This will eliminate macrovision. Once you do it you won't need to do it again (unless you unplug it maybe).
