This may sound funny but I'm not sure of it myself.
If you encode a 16:9 movie to SVCD than you need to manually letterbox it to 4:3. I do this by adding a letterbox in vdub and framserve it to cce.
I wondered if this letterbox will consume bitrate? I mean what if I adjust cce to DAR 16:9 , skip the letterbox process in vdub . What will I get????
Will I get an anamorphic 16:9 on 480*576 ( PAL SVCD)![]()
What if I encode an mpeg2 video not with the 480*576 resolution but a 16:9 one and adjust my standalone to manually letterbox the picture? ( I beleive there's an option in there, but Its possible that I've misread sg.)
The point is that I wanna get the max out of the available bitrate of SVCD.
I posted my own about the things I do so if you have questions regarding my ways, than search on me. 8)
Man, I'm so desperate to keep them on 2 cds and above 1800![]()
