  1. OK I recently downloaded avi2vcd and loaded up the file (its ac3_xvid)...and when it was done encoding I went and opened it up with windows media player and the whole picture was flopped upside down. I was like huh lol thats weird...is there any way to fix this?
I can't use TMPGEnc because whenever I do and go to start encoding I always get "TMPGEnc has caused an error in Kernel32.dll" then it makes me close it. I tried downloading a different Kernel dll and 2 different versions of TMPGEnc and it did the same thing. Also when I tried the bbmpg...when I went to load up my divx file (same one) it just caused an error and shut down. OK well if anyone can help me at all then please let me know...any help at all would be appreciated...

If you intalled the Nimo Codecs that should be enough as far as codecs are concerned. For Direct Show priority please note:
If you get an error message when opening the video or audio like file unsupported
or you get an empty(black) video preview window
or the video look wierd in the video preview window like green or purple or pink
Be sure that you have installed the DivX Codecs (both DivX 3.11, 4 and 5) and also try with the Nimo Codec Pack. If that does not work try to change the codec reader settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader and increase the priority to 1 or 2 and try open the video.

  5. I don't think it is that...I get a Windows error...
"TMPGEnc has caused an error in Kernal32.dll
    TMPGEnc will now close"

  6. I got that same Kernel error with TMPGenc... Found out it was because of corrupt video. I ran DivFix on the video stream, and it found errors all over it. Got another video file that scanned clean, and no more kernel error.
