Hi there...
I just received a bootleg music dvd-r from a friend. This dvd has some damaged audio segments (the video is fine). Now, i purchased a long time ago the same concert on CD, and now that i found the dvd has errors, i wanna use the video from the dvd with the audio from the CD. My idea was rip the dvd, use the dvd2avi & replace the wav file that this program create with the ripped wav from the cd (previous editing with Sound Forge). After use tmpegenc to re-econde the files and burn....is this possible??? The image will deteriorate if i re-encode at the same resolution (720x480) the video file???
Or do you know a better way to replace the audio without touch the video quality of a dvd...
Please help friends...
Thanks

Chances are the audio would go out of sync if you just place the entire audio track with the Video.
You could edit and create individual videos for each tune.
The video should still look pretty good after ripping and re-editing. I've done it with some home movies that I wanted to re-edit.
