i have tried using claddvdxp2.0 and smartripper to rip dvds and it works
(the new claddvdxp2.98 beta didnt work for me) ... but when using
dvd2avi trying to frameserve i dont get a wav file only the d2v file ... i
have been using the tutorials on this site ...but i still cant get it to work i
have also tried virtual dub for frame serving but i get some error as it
wont work ...anybody have any suggestions??![]()

go here http://entiendo.gotnet.net and look at the dvd makin section which shows how to set up dvd2avi after ripping a movie.

Are you certain that your audio is set to "decode" the dolby in DVD2AVI? If this is not set to decode then no WAV file is generated.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day. -
yes ... under audio and output method i have checked to decode to wav
(AC3, LPCM) and i have checked dolby digital decode - dolby surround
downmix ...anything else that could be wrong?? -
Have you saved your project? This should create the .wav and the .d2v as well!

Have you selected a track number under audio? If so, try "auto select" under "audio-->channel format."
