After a few occasions of downloading a movie that wasnt the one it said, I wonder if there is a program that makes it possible to see partial downloads - Note that I often use edonkey so partial REALLY means partial...

Pull the plug on your internet connection in the middle of the download...the file fragment will still be on your hard drive, as opposed to cancelling partway through which usually deletes it.

OK - but that doesnt really help me, when using Edonkey I have the partial files on my harddisk. But I cannot play them because they consist of several fragments of the complete movie...

Use a software player called "The Playa". It is like Windows Media Player but can play partial files. You can get it from http://www.divX.com
