hi
this is just not my day...
i took an imax movie and burned it directly as an avi with nero and it was upside down with no sound.
then i took the same movie, converted it to mpeg with tmpgenc and then burned it with nero to a cdr and the video is super but there is still no sound.
as i am writing this i am again converting the avi to an mmpeg with tmpgenc, however, i first ran virtual dub which converted the avi file to a wav file. now as i run tmpgenc, i have the avi as the video source and the wav as the audio source. the output file is the mpeg.
i still have about 30 minutes until the mpeg is complete, and then i must burn it with nero and hope that it will work out ok...
i am very quickly amassing a large supply of coasters.................
so, am i on the right track?
and would using cdrw media make any difference?
thanks

fyi...
i completed this last attempt and i again got great video but no audio.
after using tmpgenc to convert the avi to mpg and the avi to wav
an output file was created which was the mpeg file..
i used nero but the only file i selected to burn was the mpeg cause that was a combination of the avi and wav file?
i know i am doing something wrong...just dont know what..
any help is appreciated..
