Anyone here experience this?
It seems as if when toolame "hits" a limit it crashes ie. windows pops up a window saying that a there was a problem with toolame.
PS. The sound file isn't really big at all only about 400MB...
Any advice?
(I now use SCMPX as my mpeg2 audio encoder - is this not as good as toolame??)

It's not a limit - there's a bug somewhere in toolame. Some WAV files, it crashes on. Interestingly, I've used different programs to take a DVD-RIP and create the WAV file, and it seems to be something about the soundtrack itself (i.e. ac3 -> WAV through AVID, or let DVD2AVI create WAV - if one crashes, they both crash).
I always try toolame first, but if it crashes, I just let TMPGEnc encode it itself - that's never crashed on me.
