I was looking at some name brand media, and it seemed that reverse logic seems to be the norm for pricing (at many stores and internet sites). At same store/site the identical name brand, I've seen a 15 pack spindle equaling US$2.66 per disc, but the 40 pack spindle is $2.95 per disc and the 50 pack spindle is $3.50 per disc. My assumption is the more you buy the cheaper it should be? The only logic could be is that the smaller spindles move quicker and get refreshed with lower priced units, while the larger spindles sit on the shelf and may have the price from months ago???
Or maybe the vendors just don't think we can divide the # of media in spindle by the price to see which is best deal???
