Are there any good free auto/bulk file renaming programs out there? Need something that can rename large numbers of pictures.
Thanks

Several free ones here: http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/system/fwfilerename.html
I use File Renamer, but it's about $20US: http://www.filerenamer.net/index.htm -
I use 1-4a Rename:

It's freeware and you can configure it for basic mode or expert mode depending on your needs.

I have been using a program called Flash Renamer with good results. It is shareware.

Agree, and renaming is just the tip of the iceberg. That's one application everyone should have. One of the benefits of the renaming component is if the images contain exif data you can rename them by date or any other info.Originally Posted by Xylob the Destroyer

Hey, thanks for all the help guys!
I went with 1-4a Rename and it seems to be just what I need at the moment. Although i'm thinking I should check out that irfanview program as well.
I appreciate all the help!
