  1. Hi folks,
how do I tell DVD2SVCD that it has to use special settings to "feed" TmpgEnc? Maybe there's a trick to halt DVD2SVCD so that I can change the TmpgEnc.ini?
    Thanx for any suggestions.

Go to the 'Frameserver' settings and enable the option 'Edit as part of Video encoding'.

  3. I gave it a try. But I didn't find the clue. This gives me the option to edit the avisynth-script-file not to edit the tmpgenc-settings.
Can you give me more hints?

Hi Buffist, sorry for the delay but I have been away for several days - at a place that had no phone, no PC and no Internet - nice change from my usual environment.

As to your question, no there does not appear to be a way to stop DVD2SVCD and alter the TMPGEnc parameters. DVD2SVCD creates a TMPGEnc project file (a .tpr file) but you can't edit this directly. You can change the settings in the DVD2SVCD.ini file that relate to the TMPGEnc settings but this is just the same as setting the values in the gui interface.

What settings in particular are you interested in changing (between the gui parameters and the AVISYNTH filters, most TMPGEnc settings are covered).

  5. Thanx for your reply. But I found out, that one can change the TmpgEnc settings in DVD2SVCD in some setting tab. There is a tab called "advanced" and there one can change all settings for TmpgEnc that one can do like in TmpgEnc itself.
