What program should I use to fade in/out a captured video?
Especially music videos capture from a TV where it ends abruptly...I like to slowly fade out the video together with the audio in sync.

I like Video Studio. They have the normal fade to black, crossfade to another scene, 3D effect fades, etc.

Use VirtualDub with a plugin called Frame Tweaker (all you do is write a little text file with the frame numbers to fade in and out from) if all you want to do is just simply fade in and out . I use it in exactly the same scenario as you`d need it (music videos) , and it works bloody great . Send me a message if you can`t find it and I`ll look up where I found it .
To quantify my answer - Why do it this way instead of Video Studio ? Because its FREE .
