  1. i and trying to put Xvid to DVD
so i used virtualdub to extrack the audio to wav. file
then i used TMPGEnc to make the mpg2

but when its finished i get two different files useing TMPGEnc
one is the video file m2v.
and the other is the audio file wav.

the video file doesnt have audio
now i thought that the audio and video would be put together
    am i wrong?

or are the suppose to be apart like that?

In TMPGEnc make sure that the 'Stream Type' setting is 'System (Video+Audio)'. Load your AVI file as the 'Video Source' and your WAV file as the 'Audio Source' and then Start the encoding - this will then create an MPG file with both video & sound.
