  1. I'm planning on making a backup copy of my son's Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets DVD. However, there is an additional DVD containing about 20 short scenes cut from the movie. My son was wondering if there was a way to add these cut scenes to the movie in their proper places when I make the backup (sort of like a director's cut, I guess). Any help/info
would be greatly appreciated. If it is possible, I assume it would require a
    great deal of work/time.

I thought about doing this myself - for starters clips are not in the right aspect ratio compared to the rest of the film, only have Dolby Digital 2.0 vs DD 5.1 and sound does not sync well with the rest of the film.

So, in short, nice idea but you cannot get it perfect however good you are (and you would need to be VERY good to get this one even near to flawless) and IMHO not worth the grief ...

  3. Thanks for the honest reply. Kind of figured it would be too much work
for whatever benefit it would reap. They will probably release a director's
    cut soon anyway.
