  5. The DVD section at Amazon.com is great, because you get the enlarged jpg rather than a thumbnail. They also have covers for DVDs that aren't even out yet.

  6. Use www.mega-search.net - it searches for covers through multiple sites including above mentioned ones.

I'm trying this cdcovers.cc site and cannot for the life of me download a single solitary cover--I have read their FAQ and have both security and privacy set to medium and have no third party pop-up blockers. What gives? Anyone else have this trouble and how did you fix it? I'm running xp pro with i.e. 6 (long live bill gates! )

can you get the covers to display even? If so just right click the picture and do save as.

  9. menace,

    have you done this

click on the cover you want then hit the download button right below it then the image will come up on the screen and all you have to do is right click save as .
before I knew this I kept hitting the download button and nothing happened . I didn't realize that I had to right click save as

    Hope this helped

No the problem is the it doesn't even download the image so that I can click "save as.." I'm definitely being blocked for some reason but for none of the reasons in their FAQ. Still a mystery....

Of course, I'm not happy going to a site that has mandatory pop-ups but given the content its worth it I guess..

Sorry to interrupt but are CD covers the slip of paper that you insert on the CD jewel case? And are there are sites like those that offer CD labels, the ones that you stick onto the CD itself?

CD covers aren't the same, we are dealing with DVD covers.

I went to cdcovers.cc bug report page and although there are alot of folks like myself who can't get it to work, the moderator basically told one guy "hey it works for 270,00 people per day--too bad for you" I am now that much more appreciative of the help replies you get at this board

It works for me at work (which has a firewall etc, etc) and works fine so I'll just get what covers I need and email them to myself. If anyone ever gets an answer I would still like to hear it just to satisfy my curiousity.
