Just curious since I can't find any 4X media at my local office supply stores.

  2. Yes, my TDK came with one 4x dvd. And I was able to find some Verbatim 4x dvd+r's at best buy, they were 18 bucks for 5. I have had the same trouble finding any 4x media at local stores.

  3. Yeah, my DRU500AX came with a 4x Ritek, and it worked fine. It was constantly running down the read buffer while burning, through. Good thing for BurnProof, right?

I was surprised, too, as my system is pretty stout -- all SCSI (except for the DRU500AX), dual processors, 1 gig of RAM, etc. Oh well. Maybe my drive was just fragmented or something. The movie came out fine, though.

  4. Sure I have burned over a 100 4x DVD-R on my Sony. Problem is after upgrading to the new firmware it no longer burns the same media at 4x only 2x.
