    i have download a avi movie with ac3 5.1 sound. i use VirtualDub to extract the audio and have gotten multichannel wav. i have use BeSweet to convert the wav too ac3 but this will not work. normal wav can convert too ac3 but not the multichannel wav. what can i do?

    If you extract it using direct stream copy you get Ac3. Its just tha vdub adds a wav header. Fix this with ac3fix.exe (in the tools section). It will then be a 'proper' ac3 file.
