  4. iso, remeber is the function where EVERYTHING in that dvd is EXACTLY copied. so all the decrypter has to do is just make 1 file(kind of like a rar, or zipped file, but not exactly) so that all the end user has to do is just find the iso and burn with nothing else involved. it's better to use for movies under 4.68GB. file has to write very vob id and vts into a nice picture for you in a folder somewhere in your hard drive, maybe that's only one of many reasons as to why it reads slower because of buffering or cache issues?

  5. Its faster because the program dont have to decrypt the data...

  6. DVD-Decrypter writes the iso totally decrypted, boy. (if you want, of course). That is the way you can make a real 1:1 copy of a encrypted DVD-5, and is one of the coolest features of this great program.

When you decrypt in file mode, dvddecrypter needs to read every file individually. This task envolves a lot of search file, read file, write file, search another file....etc.
In iso mode reads the track of the dvd and transfers it secuentially to hard disk (decrypting it at the same time) in a only one file search operation. (the start of disc data).

¿How the hell decrypts each file in iso reading mode?.... I dont know, but it´s damn great. : )

    Cheers

I dont think DVD Decrypter really decrypt anything in ISO-mode... You can try the ISO-read mode with DVD-R(W) drives which are locked 2X ripping speed and still those drives can do the ISO with 5-6X speed...

  9. if its a dvd-5 legit dvd-video and u use dvd-decrypter to iso --> read it will remove css encryption, macrovision *AND* make it playable in ALL regions. so yes, it does do this (well this is kinda pointless to argue this tho because u can turn the options for all these on or off, but i know the way the program defaults, it does all this)
