  1. i downloaded something that had something bundled in with it that installed a new menu bar on internet explorer and reset my homepage. i was just wondering how to get rid of it, ive already installed ad-ware 6 and that didnt get rid of it. please help me out thanks.

    Got that somehow about 6 months ago, had to use XPs restore utility to nuke it, even Lops on uninstall wasn't working.

  4. Try this out for uninstalling the toolbar ( http://lop.com/new_uninstall.exe). It's meant to be the uninstall program for the toolbar.

    Hope you have better luck with it then I did, cause like I said I couldn't tell that their uninstaller did a thing.

  6. i got that last night
    i ran adaware, then went to add/remove to uninstall and i think i deleted the folder that it was in and all the other crap.
    restarted
    the tool bar went away,but all the text documents that i have on the desktop change to their icon.i went out and when i came back the icons changed backed to the way they were.
    i dont know if its all gone,but i dont see any evidence of it.i'm way over due for a format anyway.
