How comes that, even when i set the bitrate tab as

Between 0 and 60 min. Use 1 CD size 800
Between 60 and 120 min. Use 2 CD size 800
Between 120 and 180 min. Use 3 CD size 800
Between 180 and 240 min. Use 4 CD size 800
...


i get files > 2 CD when the movielenght is <120 min ???
anyone knowes what i forgot in the settings??

you need to change to 1 cd then it will fit onto 1 cd instead of two, if the bitrate drops alot with 1 cd, then use 2cd the quality will be great

try to set 780 instead of 800 and/or reduce the averange bitrate by 50.
I have the same problem, when i split a file over 800 megs.

there is an option on this I think to set a safety margin (say 5%) or as above set cd size to slightly less than 800. remember a svcd CDR can hold more than 800Mb ?
