  1. I hope that somebody could please help me. I use Ulead DVD MovieFactory to author my VCDs. I can get everything on it fine until i reach the second to last page where you choose your "CD Recorder". It's says "Drive:" and beside that there is a space w/ a drop down arrow. The only thing mine says is "No Driver Selected." I can't figure out how to get my burner's name in there.
Please help. I just created a VCD the other day with no problems, but now this come up. I'm stumped.
    greatly appreciated

  3. Hey, thanks for the reply Ryen. Although I don't think that's the problem. I only have a CD-R/RW burner (if you didn't catch that to begin with) and it works fine when I go through the main software I use to run it; I just formatted an RW a couple days ago. I just use Ulead DVD MovieFactory to author my VCD's. But now I have an even bigger problem I tried to uninstall Ulead and reinstall it, thinking that maybe it'd find the burner on its own then. I went to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, and then went to Ulead DVD MovieFactory, the wizard came up and prompted me, and it had 3 parts  "Modify", "Repair", "Remove". I chose remove to remove all of the components. For some reason it didn't go through the whole process a message popped up telling me what happened (but can't remember, sorry). In short, everything from it is removed from my system (that i know of; desktop icons, folders under "Program Folders", temp files, etc.) but it still appears (actually it's gone at the moment but can't understand why) under the Add/Remove Programs part. If I try to reinstall it the only thing that comes up is that page w/ "modify", "repair", and "remove"; and when I pick modify or repair it does not put any of the files back on my system. This totally confuses me. I know that if I can get all of it off, that it will install correctly. If you or anyone else knows anything about this or what I may have missed to get all the files off my system, please help. Sorry so long. thanx.

  5. I tried something different tonight. I deleted all the registry files pertaining to Ulead. I don't know if it's going to work yet. I'm going to try tomorrow when the computer's rebooted, ...and given me a time to rest, lol. Hopefully I'll figure it out soon; i have a lot of files that need cleaned from my computer.
