  1. this is srazy. ]

I hav a old 560hz computer and was using a pinnical card with xp drivers and the program noedvd it captured analog in mpg2 . then i used tmpgen to make svcd without a problem and burnt with nero

Now I upgraded to a faster computer , using the same setup
and now tmpgen wont except the mpg files. and in nero burn program it turns the files upside down when they are dragged over to set up for the conversion.

    ????????????????? this is bloody crazy

No, TMPGEnc can't read MPEG2. Install PowerDVD (trial if you haven't got full ver), and TMPGEnc will now use PowerDVDs MPEG2 decoder.
As for Nero - Don't use it for anything besides burning the stuff to CD/DVD!

Just get this program and it will do it all (capture, import, edit, author, burn).

Like I said, Nero is fine for burning. The line
and in nero burn program it turns the files upside down when they are dragged over to set up for the conversion
made me blieve you try to use Nero for more than burning; Sounds like you try to use it for both encoding and authoring, as well as burning?
The tools I use are: TMPGEnc/Main Concept for encoding. VCDEasy for authoring. Nero for burning. (A lie - I use VCDEasy for burning too, as my CD writer is supported by VCDEasy. Not all systems are, so if Nero works fine for you, just use VCDEasy to author, then Nero to burn.)
