I am real new everything here so please keep any help in laymans terms. Only been doing this about a week now.
I am trying to join 2 AVI (DIVX) files with Virtual Dub and am getting an error that the audio streams have different sampling rates (4000.00000 vs. 5000.00000)
I am including a screenshot of both files in GSpot. Maybe someone can tell me how I can change what is different between both files to be able to join them. Also which one would be better to keep and which would be better to change.
One more question, I have a few XVID movies that I would like to burn to SVCD. What would be the best way ( format to change the AVI's into I.E. MPEG-1, MPEG-2, or whatever) to keep the quality that they are now and still be able to burn to SVCD?
Thanks in advance.

An AviSynth script would be the way I would go. It does not care what sampling rate the video files have. Once you have loaded AviSynth to your system, joining different is as easy as this:
AVISource("d:capcap1.avi")+AVISource("d:capcap2.av i")
+AVISource("d:capcap3.avi")Hello. -
Thanks TommyK,
I haven't used that program yet, I did notice it is installed as a plug in with Virtual dub I believe.
I'll see what I can do with it.
