Okay...
DVD2SVCD is really good save for one thing - i can rip a dvd and conver to AVI (i have to convert to vcd or svcd)
So i started to poke around - one of the programs that come with dvd2svcd is called "vstrip" and it seems really well done
I load up my VOB file from the DVD (unprotected I beleive since it just streams w/o any problem)
Then I load the IFO file and I have two audio tracks
0) Japanese
1) English
Since Japanese is selected by deafult (I do't like dubs) I leave it there
Then I want to add subtitles
0) Englihs
Yeah, I'm happy!
Then I got to output and select "all" on substreams to get the subs (I'm assuming)
then i click DVD2AVI so i can later convert it to a AVI
and then i click go
now here is the problems-
Tehre are no subs!
I even tried to selected the English audio by clicking on it and it would still rip Japanese Audio with no subs.
how do i do it?
Thanks
If you have a different method, please tell me as I'm dying to find out
