    Hi,

I added my own subtitles from an .srt file to an existing DVD, using SubtitleCreator. The time when a subtitle should appear is correct in the .srt file, although, in the movie, when burnt, the subtitles appear correct in the beginning, but they get delayed with more than 4 seconds in the end ( 2hrs12minute movie ). Any help on this?

I assume it has something to do with the NTSC vs. PAL DVD format, ( isn't it the case that one of these two has les fps ? ).

Actually I'm quite a noob when it comes to DVD's and that kind of stuff, so I thought I'd ask it here

    Thanks in advance !

  2. 4 seconds in the end for a 2hrs12minute movie is not much. Could be a 'drop frame/non drop frame' problem (which should result in about 4 seconds difference per hour). I don't know if SubtitleCreator can adjust this difference.

I think Jubler has some ability to alter subtitle sync. You might want to take a look at it and see if it can solve your problem.

    Good luck!

  4. Subtitle Workshop also allows you to change subtitle timings. It even allows you to sync subtitles that you added using timings from subtitles that already exist.
