When I go to open TMPGEnc I get and error that says
read error occurred at address BFF7A125 of module 'KERNEL32.DLL' with 007DFF28
When I open TMPGEnc this mesage pops up and only the help wizard, and then I press ok, and both windows dissapear. I have the Nimo codec pack....could this be a problem with a codec I am lacking, because I have encoded many things and made one vcd and this just randomly happend.

Yeaa I had a similar problem as well, try reinstalling TMPGEnc and install it again, IF that doesn't work remove all your codecs, and remove TMPGEnc as well,THEN install TMPGEnc and then your codecs again, I've heard that Nimo Codecs Package is very unstable, kinda think so myself, try installing the DivXPro5.03 Codecs instead and reply back if it doesn't work.
Hope it helps! -
It's most likely a problem with the DirectShow Priority Filters in the Environmental Settings. This should help:
Try first to change the codec reader settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader and increase the priority to 1 or 2 and try open the video.
Hope That Helps!!!:P
