I was wondering if there is a loss in sound "fullness, quality" when listening to a 5.1 encoded DVD on my 2 PC speakers. Or how is it when listening to a 2.0 sound on a 5.1 system?
I don't want to use 5.1 and 2.0 both when creating a DVD but if there is a loss in quality, then I suppose I just might....

Your taking 5 distinct channels of sound, and squishing them into 2. You loose fullness, although the detail is still there.
Impossible to see the future is. The Dark Side clouds everything...
