Ok i foudn this card (win tv go) in a store for 50 bucks, i have some questiosn about it. Can it capture at 720x480 in mpeg 2? My frined bout the aiw ati 7500 and he has a faster comp than me and he couldnt caputre 720x480 in avi, in mpg2 format worked perfect. I have a clereon 750 mhz, 128 sdram, 60+ gig drive 7200 rpm.
So can i capture into mpg2 at 720x480 using ulead videostufio like my friend did? Because mpg captures faster than avi, so can it?? Please reply soon, because this card is on sale and it goes off sale tomorow, so if im gonna buy it i need to now.

yes you can record at 720x480 mpeg 2 with a wintv go card. i have a wintv go and can capture at 720x576 mpeg2 with powervcr2. however, make sure you have a fast computer first (850mhz at least).
but as for videostudio, it might not work for that because of it's drivers.
i have videostudio and cannot capture above 352x288. use powervcr 2 instead. much better than videostudio at capturing. -
