Hi everyone. I have a tuner card from Hauppauge--WinTv HVR 1850--which works perfectly in Window Media Center. It use to work in The WinTv 7 application, but it stopped functioning. When I open up the software, I receive an error message stating that there is no tuner available. My first thought was that having both applications open--WMC and WinTv- would render one useless. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I shutdown WMC and the PC, restart the PC. and start WinTv. and I still receive the above error message. I must be doing something wrong. Can someone please assist me with this problem. deanie44

Simply shutting down WMC might not be good enough, it could still be accessing the tuner in the background.
You may need to disable access to WMC completely using "Set program access and computer defaults", found under "Default Programs" in the desktop start menu.
Restart your PC afterwards.
