  1. Ok, I'm backing up my Bourne Identity.. movie alone is like 6.5g. I wanted to keep main menu and couple of xtras.. so I:

    1. ripped everything - Decrypter
    2. stripped/kept DD & DTS - IFOedit .95
    3. re-encoded 2-pass - CCE2.64
    4. re-authored - Maestro

The movie now is 4.3g, limiting me now to movie only on DVD-R.. but I want the original working menu with some xtras that I specifically opted for--the menu and these xtras total 1.36g.. Where in CCE do I tell it to leave room for the menu and xtras??

What are my options outside of putting the movie only on the DVD-R, e.g., can I re-encode the 1.36g of menu+xtras?? If so, is it a lot different than doing the movie alone b/c of the different IFO's and all??

You should look at the VOBs containing the menus you want to keep and ascertain their filesize. This filesize should be taken into account when you use a bitrate calculator for the CCE re-encode. You then use IFOUpdate to update the existing IFO files with the new information from your Maestro produced IFOs.

This will effectively 'merge' the existing IFOs and Menus with your new Maestro produce VOBs. There is a guide for this on www.doom9.org.

I have never re-encoded the menus but I'm sure you could do it using the same principle as mentioned above.
