    here's my problem.

    i converted a movie in .AVI format to .SVCD format using TMPGEnc and
    came out really good, sound and picture quality both.

    But when i cut it using TMPGEnc to fit it on 2 cd's the last 40- 50 seconds
    of the movie the sound goes out.

    I have try everything i can think of, but nothing seems to fix this problem

    PLEASE!!!!!! help!!!!!!!

    Use DV Tool to split the original mpg. It has worked for me.

    Alternatively cut the avi in virtualdub before encoding, then encode the 2 individual parts of the avi file.

    it's very simple. when you split it use SVCD MPEG2 (VBR) instead of MPEG2 (VBR) that'll fix your problem. i have that problem for a long time myself
