ok, i just got myself a new dvd burner.. and i like it a lot for data back up.

now, i was thinking maybe i should use it for.. um.. dvd movies maybe!!

ok, anyway here is my question.

one of the biggest things about dvds are clearer picture and high quality surround sound (dts, dolby digital, pro logic II, etc)
i have some avi and mpeg-1 clips that contain mono and stereo audio. now, is there a way to make that mono (single channel) or stereo (2 channel) audio into surround or even dolby digital audio?

    thanks in advance! 8)

  2. You can also get plugins for Adobe Premiere and probly most of the other major editors. Do a search and you'll find it.

The Adobe website has a page with a bunch of links to 3rd party stuff for Premiere. If you want to use Google to search, just type in "Premiere plugins" and you'll get some hits.
