I couldnt find this in the guides. When I convert a video for DVD, how can I get it to auto play in my DVD player?
thanks

It depends on your authoring software. Some have menu timeouts that will automatically go to the highlighted menu selection after a certain period of time.
I use Ulead DVDWorkShop and you can select this option or de-select it and set the time allowed for the menu to remain on screen. Works very well in all DVD players I've tried.
Ulead DVDWS has a 30 day free trial from their web site.

If you are talking about just getting the DVD video to play the instant the dvd gets loaded then you want to set the 'first play' field of whatever authoring software you are using to the movie.
What authoring software are you using? -
well, thats the thing. I use TMPG to make the mpg then I use pinaccle to author. But I have these other VOB files that just wont burn, so I can't even get them in to see the auto play feature work!!!
