  4. Well, it does work for thousands of people. Perhaps something's wrong with your subtitle file. Post your log and RAR or ZIP up your SSA file and upload it here so we can have a look.

But to answer your question, you can't edit the .avs to add the VSFilter and the SSA file. And if you already know how to do that, why are you even using AutoGK?

because lately i'm having problem with coding videos in gk
for example: coding a show every week which is always 23 minutes
and the coded file always took for about 180-200 mb
and not it always 380-400 mb
and not just that, any video that im coding at resolution 512 * 384
always took me about 5th less from the original file
now it is much more , even that i define less and no metter what im doin'
it always take only about 2th less from the original file
and here is the ssa file

  6. Your subtitle is screwed. Can't you even test it on a video and discover this yourself? Just look at it:

    Dialogue: Marked=0,0:00:40.51,0:00:30.84,s2s_def_sub_set,,00 00,0000,0000,!Effect,Gisenu הוקלט וקודד ע"י
    Dialogue: Marked=0,0:00:51.84,0:00:41.01,s2s_def_sub_set,,00 00,0000,0000,!Effect,gisenu

The first line begins at 40.51 and ends 10 seconds earlier. Same with the second line. Why are you blaming AutoGK for this when you can't even create a decent sub?

As for your other problems with Gordian Knot, my advice is to go into Add/Remove Programs and uninstall your XviD. Then download and install a fresh version. But if you have a GK log for an encode that came out too large, that might help also.

    ok thanks
the problem with the subtitles solved 10x 2 u
but i still have the same problem in gk
    i've uninstalled xvid
and installed a fresh xvid 1.2.2
    and nothing has changed
    here is the log file

  8. The speed seems OK to me - 65fps for the first pass and just under 50fps for the second pass. But you say you didn't get the size you asked for? The logs don't give the real final size, but if you asked for 235 MB (?), you got much more than that?

If reinstalling XviD didn't fix it, then more than one problem with GKnot has been solved by cleaning the whole thing off of the hard drive and starting with a fresh install, along with the updates

    already did it
i've reinstalled gk and its still the same problem
im 100% sure that the problem is CLASH with auto gk
because since i've started coding with auto gk the problem began
in the first coding in auto gk i let him do everything automatically include the size of the file
and then i moved to gk to code something and then the problem began
then i tried to uninstall .. reinstall.. whatever u say
    and nothing helped..
and then i tried to make costum size in auto gk in movie
and then the problem solved in gk
i left auto gk for couple of months
and installed it again in order to code something and the problem is of course - came back
i tried to do same thing i did last time with the costum size and stuff
    and now nothing really help's
the only thing i changed in the codecs that i've installed the last version of lame_enc.dll because i've used a version from 2003 without notice

  10. Clash with AutoGK? I suppose it's possible. Which AutoGK are you using? It says which one at the top, right after you open it.

So much for that theory. There were earlier versions of AutoGK that were broken as far as getting the right final size. If you say the problem is a conflict with AutoGK, why not uninstall AutoGK and make an encode with Gordian Knot. That should prove or disprove your theory. If you've already done that then I'm out of ideas. If you don't get something that helps here, you might try the GK/AutoGK forum at Doom9. I'm a mod there, but there are smarter people than I over there that may be able to help.

  15. Hehe, yeah, that's so you can search around and see if anyone else has had a similar problem before. The thing is, though, I can't remember anything quite like yours.
