when i attempt to make a dvd with ulead dvd workshop, it plays fine in my sony dru500a, but when i put it in my standalone pioneer dvd player it will not play audio. can any one help. ive tried capturing with the audio at 44.1 and 48. still no luck. ive authored dvds with sonic mydvd and ulead movie factory and they worked fine in the same dvd player

Did you use MPG or PCM audio. Some DVD players have problems playing MPG audio. PCM and AC3 (which DVDWS dosent support) may work better.

Have you tried the completed DVD in another DVD player?
Have you created more then 1 DVD and used another video project and are still not getting any audio to play?
i've been using DVDWS sense it came out (9 or 10 months ago) and never had a problem with audio.
