  1. Hey there

I jst bought my self a Pioneer 105 DVD-RW. When i try and burn a DVD Movie in Gear Pro 6.02 i get a buffer under run. I thought it may have been a software probelm, but NERO burned fine but one of my DVD players could not recognise it. So i went to search for another DVD burning program and found Prassi PrimoDVD 2.0 I installed it but it wont recognise my Pioneer 105 drive so i cant burn any DVD's!!

It also take me about 30-40 mins to rip a DVD on my Pioneer 105 drive. Is this the normal rate or is it drastically slow? if so what can i do to improve it? I am running Windows XP Service Pack 1.

Any help would be much appreciated

    Cheers

  2. Hi friend,
you will need to go to the prassi web site and download the patch so your pioneer 105 will pick up.

  3. I have burned many dvds and all are fine ( I used Nero) My best guess is that you used some cheap media. I would recommend tdk and sony. I used those with no problems.

Another thing you might want to check is that the drive is set to DMA mode and not on PIO mode. I always used to get the buffer underrun problem with my cd burner until i fixed this.
