  1. hey all...i was wondering if i can extract the audio into wav or mp3 from 1 chapter... it's a live performance dvd and i just want one song turned into mp3...is there a way.

    First RIP the DVD with Smartripper 2.34
    Let DVD2AVI decode the DVD audio. DVD2AVI can handle two types of DVD audio. You need to identify which audio format your DVD is using and which track number you want to convert. You can identify the audio format, number and language using SmartRipper.

    (Most of the time a file called like VTS_01_INFO.TXT is placed by SmartRipper and at the STREAM INFO you find out wich is it)

    Then you convert the wanted section to MP3 with Cooledit by example.

    Try vob2audio. It decodes DVD audio, have a look at this guide.
