Hi,
I'm looking for a way to extract clips from DVDs and convert them to divx in the same way that VirtualDub converts MPEG-1 - i.e. a preview window which can be navigated frame by frame, allowing me to cut out unwanted parts (eg adverts) and mark in and out points, then convert the selected area to divx.
Is there a way of doing this, or would I have to rip the entire DVD first then use VirtualDub?
Thanks,
Paul

Smartripper in "file mode" to choose what you want, then DvdX to preview before you canvert.
